Licence and terms
ČlovíčekHD is not on sale yet. The full terms and conditions and the end-user licence agreement (EULA) will be published no later than the start of sales.
Licence model
A licence is sold per device and per specific version of the game. The Home licence is permanent and meant for one individual for private, non-commercial use. The Commercial licence is for businesses, self-employed people, schools, kindergartens, after-school clubs, institutions and any professional or commercial use; it runs for 5 years from the day the key is issued, after which the game switches to demo mode and saves are kept. Renewing for another 5 years costs 50% of the licence price. A new major version of the game may require a new licence. Prices will be announced when sales begin.
Consumer rights
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content (a licence key), this right ends if delivery begins with the consumer's express prior consent and the consumer acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal (Section 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code). We will ask for this consent with a separate checkbox at purchase. Your rights regarding defective performance remain unaffected.
Paying with bitcoin
Prices will be set in euros and Czech crowns; bitcoin is only the payment method. BTC payments cannot be reversed and the network fee is paid by the buyer. We record received payments in Czech crowns at the exchange rate on the day of receipt.
Out-of-court dispute resolution
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) handles out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
Privacy
This website
The website is mostly static. We measure traffic without cookies via Cloudflare Web Analytics (see the Cookies section below). The website has no user accounts or advertising tools. The data you send through forms is described in the sections below.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security reasons. Transfers of data to the USA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement for details.
Purchases (once sales begin)
To deliver your licence key we will process your email address, licence type and transaction ID (txid). The legal basis is performance of the contract and compliance with accounting and tax obligations. We keep the data for the period required by accounting and tax law.
Children
The game collects no personal data from players and saves progress only on the device. Purchases should be made by a parent or another adult.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz). The controller is the operator named above.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so there is no consent banner. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, nothing stored on your device and no cross-site tracking. We only see aggregate numbers (visits, pages viewed, country), not individual visitors.
Custom software inquiries
The form on the homepage in the Software section is for a no-obligation inquiry. We store your name, email, project type, inquiry description, page language, and optionally a budget and deadline. To limit abuse (at most 5 submissions per hour from one address), the system briefly records your IP address too.
We process the data based on your consent, so we can reply to your inquiry. The studio isn't taking orders yet – it's waiting on advice from a tax advisor – so the form is not used to conclude a contract or take payment.
We keep inquiry data for at most 12 months from submission, after which it is deleted automatically. You can request earlier deletion at any time – write to info@alexandersoft.net from the email address you gave in the form.
Beta test and release notification
The form in the “Play it first” section on the homepage is for signing up for the beta test or for a notification about the game's release. We store your email, the chosen language, your choice (beta test, or release notification only), the page language, and the time and wording of your consent. To limit abuse (at most 5 submissions per hour from one address), the system briefly records your IP address too.
We process the data based on your consent, and only to write to you about the beta test or the game's release. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every message or by email at info@alexandersoft.net. The service is meant for people aged 15 or over; younger children should be signed up by a parent or guardian.
If you chose only the release notification, we keep the data until the release notification has been sent plus 30 days, then delete it. If you chose the beta test, we keep it until you withdraw consent, and at most 12 months after the game's release, then delete it.
The recipients and processors of the data are Cloudflare, Inc. (server operation and data storage) and Google (Google Workspace, sending emails). Both may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell the data or pass it on for advertising.
AlexanderSoft Club — interested sign-ups
The „AlexanderSoft Club, coming soon“ page offers an e-mail sign-up for people interested in membership, which launches on 1 Dec 2026. We store the e-mail address, the page language, and the time and wording of the consent. To limit abuse, the system briefly records your IP address as well.
We process the data based on your consent, solely to write to you once the club opens. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every message, or by e-mailing info@alexandersoft.net. Club membership itself will be for people 18 and over; signing up for the opening notice has no age limit.
We keep the data until the club opens plus another 30 days, then delete it unless you become a member.
